The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 08 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 8 to obtain service and maintenance for its positron emission tomography (PET/CT) scan systems. Period of performance: April 1st, 2024 March 31st, 2025, plus four option year period. Basic description of the requirement: This requirement is for full maintenance coverage by providing all replacement parts, software, labor, travel expenses, tools, test equipment and other incidentals necessary to maintain or restore the listed equipment to operating specifications according to the manufacturer s recommendations throughout the term of the contract. All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer. Vendor must have manufacturer certification to service and maintain the devices and have access to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts, manuals, and schematics to perform the service. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by March 26,2024, at 3:30PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE PET/CT Scan Services in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to the Contracting Officer, Paul Jarrett at paul.jarrett@va.gov. The capability documentation shall include a Siemen s Authorization letter, general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience providing the services described above. Responses shall clearly detail the firm s capability to access OEM parts, manuals, and schematics. Responses shall include proof of manufacturer certification to perform maintenance and repairs.
