Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the NCO 23, is seeking to establish a 5-year, single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Audiology Equipment Calibration, Maintenance, and Support Services. This initiative aims to support the VA Medical Centers within the VISN 23 network, which includes various locations across the Midwest. The goal of this contract is to ensure that audiology equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to meet operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, labor, personnel, transportation, tools, supplies, reagents, and equipment required for the calibration and maintenance of audiology equipment at VISN 23 VA Medical Centers and associated outpatient clinics. Key tasks include:
- Performing preventative maintenance (PM) which includes parts provision, system verification, alignment, adjustments, and calibrations at no additional cost to the customer.
- Providing parts and labor necessary for PM inspections without extra charges.
- Conducting equipment verification at no additional cost.
- Scheduling calibrations in coordination with site leads at each facility.
- Ensuring all audiometers are calibrated according to American National Standards Institute specifications (ANSI S3.6-2018) and maintaining records of all calibration activities. Calibration reports must be provided by the end of the business day following service completion and must accompany invoices detailing charges.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a period of five years from the date of award.

Services will be performed at various locations within VISN 23 including:
- Black Hills VA Medical Center in Fort Meade, SD
- Central Iowa VA Health Care System in Des Moines, IA
- Fargo VA Health Care System in Fargo, ND
- Iowa City VA Health Care System in Iowa City, IA
- Nebraska Western Iowa VA Health Care System in Omaha, NE
- Sioux Falls VA Health Care System in Sioux Falls, SD.
