AGFA Preventive Maintenance and Service Base 2 years Intent to Sole Source   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Boston Healthcare System intends to award a Base plus two (2) option year firm-fixed, sole source contract for preventive maintenance and support services to AGFA US Corp. This contract aims to ensure the ongoing functionality and reliability of the equipment used within the VA healthcare system.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide annual preventive maintenance and service support on each of the items listed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The work specified shall be performed during normal business hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.

The contractor must schedule services in advance with the designated VA facility representative. At the conclusion of each repair or scheduled maintenance visit, a written service report must be provided detailing the date of service, Bar Code Number (EE#), model, serial number, location of equipment serviced, name of service representative, hours worked, services performed, and parts replaced. The vendor must demonstrate substantial experience in repairing and servicing the equipment listed and provide training certificates to validate technical ability. Additional related services may be ordered off this contract if deemed necessary by the VA. No work shall be paid for without prior written approval by the Contracting Officer (CO). If subcontractors are used, they must be approved in advance by the CO.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, with two option years extending through December 31, 2027 and December 31, 2028.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the VA Boston Healthcare System located at 940 Belmont Street, Brockton MA 02301.
