NCO 23 Contracting is requesting information for small businesses who offer the following goods or equivalent. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: The market research is looking to identify potential vendors who have the capabilities to offer the following: Upgrade Building 27 Warehouse Security System and Access Controls per attached performance work statement (PWS). Interested vendors must provide proof they are Hirsch Group Certified System Integrators with their response to this notice. The Buy American Act applies to the supplies portion of the requirement. In your responses you must include the place of manufacture for the above items or equal items that can satisfy this requirement. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS):
1. Install all required card readers at specified doors with full functional integration.
2. Install an automatic door operator and ADA egress relay output board at Door D.
3. Install five motion detectors that report to VA Police.
4. Install approximately 470 feet of conduit, cabling, and junction boxes according to VA/NECA/electrical standards.
5. Install input and relay boards that integrate with existing Hirsch VA Police panel.
6. Label all devices, cabling trays, and panels according to VA/NECA standards.
7. Submit complete product data, labeling schedules, and integration documentation for review.
8. Maintain OSHA-compliant safety staffing on-site and submit training certifications.
9. Adhere to specified work hours (Monday to Friday, 0800–1530).
10. Provide advance notifications regarding project milestones (3-day, 2-day, 5-day notices).
11. Obtain necessary approvals before network connections.
12. Maintain a clean work area with proper debris disposal as per VA guidelines.
13. Deliver end-user training prior to project acceptance.
