Ronco Nurse Call Service Contract Northport Base Year (VA-25-00075875)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: -Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract IAW FAR 6.302-1, to Ronco Specialized Systems for the Northport VAMC for one base year with the provision of four (4) option years, (08/01/2025 to 07/31/2030). Ronco Specialized Systems is the only Vendor authorized to service the Rauland nurse call equipment. The NAICS code is 811210-Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Product Description Product Code Ronco Specialized Systems SMA - Northport VAMC - 2025 - ENT The Northport VA Medical Center requires a software upgrade and service plan for the Rauland nurse call system currently in use. The services to be provided by the contractor under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and tools to provide and test one major upgrade per year as well as any telephone or onsite support. The Northport VAMC requires support services to diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions on a routine basis and Biomedical Engineering does not have factory trained and authorized staff to support this equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A RE QUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, HOWEVER, Any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by July 11th, 2025 @3:00pm EDT. Responses shall be submitted via email to Lorraine.Hussain@va.gov.
