NEW (B+4) | NTX Comprehensive Electrical Maintenance   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 17, is issuing this solicitation for Comprehensive Electrical Maintenance services. The goal of the contract is to ensure the reliability and safety of critical electrical systems within the VA North Texas Health Care System. This includes maintenance, inspection, testing, and emergency restoration services for electrical distribution systems and components vital to healthcare operations.

Work Details
The contractor will perform scheduled maintenance, inspection, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System, Emergency Standby Power Generation and Distribution system, Mission Critical Electrical Systems components, and Energy Management. Key tasks include:

1. Maintenance and Testing of critical electrical distribution systems.
2. Emergency Restoration Service for unplanned electrical failures.
3. Compliance with safety standards including OSHA training for personnel.
4. Provision of qualified technicians with necessary certifications (ANSI, NETA).
5. Detailed reporting on maintenance activities including deficiencies and corrective actions.
6. Annual energy management updates and power quality monitoring.
7. Adherence to specific testing schedules for various electrical equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays.

Period of Performance
Base Year: September 10, 2025 – September 9, 2026; Option Year 1: September 10, 2026 – September 9, 2027; Option Year 2: September 10, 2027 – September 9, 2028; Option Year 3: September 10, 2028 – September 9, 2029; Option Year 4: September 10, 2029 – September 9, 2030.

The work will be performed at multiple locations within the VA North Texas Health Care System including:
