Maintenance, Testing and Repairs on High Voltage Equipment at Northport VA Medical Center   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Northport VA Medical Center, requires maintenance, testing, and repair services for high voltage equipment. The goal of this contract is to ensure the optimal efficiency and safety of the electrical systems within the facility, which is critical for supporting the medical center's operations and patient care.

Work Details
1. The contractor shall perform maintenance, testing, and repair services on high voltage electrical equipment to maintain optimal efficiency. Services must be conducted during hours that minimally impact facility operations and patient care, potentially including Federal or State holidays and weekends.

2. Labor costs for repairs will be charged per hour, with adherence to the Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon Act as applicable.

3. All work must comply with relevant codes including International Building Code (IBC), OSHA 1910.269, and NFPA 70E.

4. The contractor guarantees labor and materials for all services provided.

5. The contractor's business must be within a 75-mile radius of Northport VAMC with a maximum response time of two hours for emergency repairs.

6. The contractor must have immediate access to necessary tools and materials for repairing pad mount transformers, underground cables, fittings, and components across low, medium, and high voltage systems.

Period of Performance
Base Year: January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025; Option Periods: Four additional one-year periods from January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2029.
