Electrical Power Distribution System & Dissolved Gas Analysis Services

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS), is seeking contractors for the maintenance, inspection, testing, and calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and dissolved gas analysis services.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems critical to patient care and hospital operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, testing equipment, and supervision necessary for the following tasks:
1) Maintenance, inspection, testing, and calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and its components;
2) Conducting dissolved gas analysis and testing on transformers;
3) Removing and reinstalling breakers during scheduled outages;
4) Ensuring all electrical panels are infrared;
5) Providing separate costs for re-testing or repairing circuit breakers as needed.

The work must be performed during weekends to minimize impact on hospital operations. The contractor must also comply with safety regulations including OSHA standards and provide a complete written report detailing all work performed including test data and recommendations for corrective actions.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by September 17, 2026.
