Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Services For Emergency Generators

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential vendors capable of providing comprehensive preventive maintenance services for emergency generators at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable, safe, and continuous operation of all generators in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and best practices.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive maintenance services specifically for Caterpillar and Kohler generators. This includes ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Vendors must provide documentation as an authorized independent dealer, distributor, and service provider from the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) Caterpillar Inc. and Kohler.

The contract is envisioned as a base plus four-year service agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a base period plus four additional years.

Place of Performance
Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide documentation proving they are authorized dealers or service providers for Caterpillar Inc. and Kohler generators. Interested bidders should submit a capability statement that includes their company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS Number, and business size classification (small or large).

Additionally, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) should indicate if they are verified by the SBA on the VetCert Database.
