Background
The solicitation is for a contract to provide maintenance on backup generators for the Alexandria Veterans Healthcare System (AVAHCS) located in Pineville, Louisiana. The generators are the primary emergency generators for the AVAHCS and Community Based Outpatient Clinics support capability. The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB's).

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing planned maintenance (PM) inspections on the generators at annual intervals, beginning in February 2023, with servicing to be performed by September 30th of each calendar year. The contractor is required to furnish all necessary labor, material, parts, components, tools, supplies, test equipment, diagnostics, manuals, schematic drawings, facilities, freight, temporary or standby equipment, vehicle usage, travel, mileage and other necessary items to perform maintenance services to keep the equipment in good operating condition.
The contractor shall also provide load banking testing during the month of April and submit signed written reports/certifications for all completed work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year service is from February 15, 2023 to September 30, 2023. There are also three option years available with similar periods of performance.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the AVAHCS facility in Pineville, Louisiana.
