Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract for preventative and corrective roof maintenance services at various locations including the Atlanta VA Medical Center, Fort McPherson VA Clinic, and Trinka Davis Veterans Village. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of roofing systems through scheduled maintenance and on-demand repairs, thereby supporting the agency's mission to provide high-quality care to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide preventative repair maintenance on roofs at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and other specified locations. This includes:

1. Preventative Maintenance: Scheduled work on 234,000 square feet across 53 roof sections at the Atlanta VA Medical Center during normal business hours.

2. Corrective Maintenance: On an as-needed basis for both non-emergent and emergent situations at the Atlanta VAMC, Fort McPherson VA Clinic, and Trinka Davis Veterans Village.

3. Specific tasks include:
- Roof inspections and repairs of incidental tears, splits, and breaks in membrane flashings using appropriate repair materials.
- Housekeeping tasks such as debris removal from roof membranes and drains.
- Comprehensive reporting after inspections including documentation of repairs made with photos.

4. The contractor must use no odor adhesive repair materials and is responsible for providing all necessary tools, materials, labor, and supervision.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period not exceeding one year with an option for one additional year, starting from the award date.
