Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 17 is seeking to establish a service contract for the maintenance and repair of Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) as part of its mission to provide healthcare services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the MMUs are operational and available for use, thereby supporting the healthcare needs of veterans in the region.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and other items necessary for unscheduled corrective maintenance and repairs for vehicle power systems, truck and chassis components (bumper to bumper), generator systems, RV slide outs, and HVAC systems. The contractor must be located within a 100-mile radius to facilitate towing of the medical units if necessary.

Services include:
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) services as per the Statement of Work.
- Emergency after-hours service.
- Reporting requirements including written progress reports due by the second workday following service calls.
- Compliance with OEM standards for parts used in repairs.
- Maintenance support within two hours of arrival on scheduled days.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, with four additional option periods extending through January 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at VA Texas Valley Healthcare Center located at 2601 Veterans Dr, Harlingen TX 78550.
