Boiler Maintenance Nashville Campus
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9), is issuing this solicitation for boiler maintenance services at the Nashville Campus VAMC. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the boiler systems, which are critical for the facility's operations. This requirement is being solicited as unrestricted, allowing a wide range of contractors to participate.

Work Details
The contractor will provide full maintenance services for three Cleaver Brooks high-pressure gas and oil-fired fire tube boilers, including all necessary parts replacement and repairs. The scope includes preventive maintenance (PM) and repair service on the boilers, boiler controls, and ancillary systems. Specific tasks include:
- Inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining boilers and associated controls in accordance with the VHA Boiler Safety Manual.
- Conducting safety checks and combustion calibration from 0% to 100% in 5% increments.
- Performing routine maintenance on components such as gauges, seals, gaskets, lubricants, filters, switches, circuit breakers, sensors, and thermostats.
- Providing operator training during annual inspections and monthly safety device training sessions.
- Ensuring that all work is coordinated with the Utility Systems Operations Supervisor (USO Sup.) and/or Contract Officer Representative (COR).
- Maintaining a minimum of eight hours per week for service/repair work as needed until boilers are operationally sound.

Period of Performance
Base period from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026 with four option periods extending through February 28, 2030.

The services will be performed at the Nashville Campus VAMC located at 1310 24th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212.
