Background
The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, operates various water treatment systems including deionized (DI), reverse osmosis (RO), humidification, ultraviolet (UV) sterilization, and water softening systems. These systems are crucial for supporting research operations, laboratory functions, humidification systems, and facility environmental controls.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the continuous operation of these essential systems through comprehensive maintenance and support services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventive maintenance and consumable services for multiple water treatment systems at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. This includes:
- Preventive maintenance for DI and RO systems
- Consumable replacement
- Operational monitoring
- DI exchange tank services
- Emergency response services
- Corrective maintenance as needed
- Operational support services to maintain system functionality.

Specific tasks include inspections, monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance with operational standards as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Period of Performance
Base period from August 9, 2026 to August 8, 2027, with options for additional periods extending through August 8, 2031.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the requirements for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSBC).
