Reverse Osmosis Sanitation Services RLRVAMC   2

Background
The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1481 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46202, requires ongoing sanitation services for its Reverse Osmosis (RO) system for critical and medical equipment.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the RO systems are properly sanitized to prevent contamination that could impact patient care and safety. Regular maintenance is crucial and the services will be performed in the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) Department and in the second floor Laboratory.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform sanitization on RO Systems. This includes scheduled sanitation five (5) times a year—quarterly and one (1) interim visit at the request of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

The sanitation services include sanitizing the RO storage tank and loop with ozone. The contractor must provide a report within five (5) business days following each visit detailing findings, actions taken during sanitation, and recommendations for repairs or replacements. All work must comply with applicable regulations including OSHA regulations, VA Handbook 6500, ANSI/AAMI ST108.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on October 6, 2025, and ends on October 5, 2026, with options to extend for up to four additional years.
