Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure industrial water treatment services for the VA Central California Health Care System located in Fresno, California. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper chemical treatment of chiller and boiler plant water and steam to achieve specified results, thereby enhancing the safety, reliability, and longevity of the steam and condensate piping and equipment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, technical advisory services, transportation, and resources necessary for the chemical treatment of chiller and boiler plant water. Specific tasks include:

1. Supply and service of Boiler & Chiller Water/Condensate Treatment Chemicals/Reagents.
2. Installation of chemical delivery systems and containment units.
3. Conducting service visits (52 visits per year) to monitor and verify proper operation of non-chemical water treatment systems.
4. Providing all chemicals, test kits, test reagents, corrosion coupons, and instructional materials necessary for compliance with contract requirements.
5. Ensuring that all chemicals conform to FDA guidelines and local/state/federal regulations on water pollution.
6. Performing regular testing of feedwater quality including total hardness, dissolved oxygen levels, and other parameters as specified in the Statement of Work.
7. Providing emergency response services within 4 hours upon request.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 8, 2025 through August 7, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E Clinton Ave, Fresno, CA 93703.
