Background
This solicitation is for a Plumbing & HVAC-R Maintenance, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Puget Sound Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (VAHCS) in Washington. The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The period of performance is from 3 May 2023 to 2 May 2028, with task orders issued as needed. An important site visit opportunity was scheduled on March 8, 2023.

Work Details
The work primarily involves Plumbing and HVAC-R Maintenance at the Seattle Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Campus in Seattle, WA and American Lake VAMC Campus in Tacoma, WA. It may also include Ft Lawton Campus in West Seattle, WA, as well as smaller clinics and transitional resident locations within Puget Sound VAHCS.

The scope of work includes various plumbing tasks such as drain repair, compressed gas system maintenance, plumbing fixture installation, and medical gas analysis and certification. Additionally, HVAC-R maintenance tasks include repairs and replacements related to ductwork, digital controls parts, electric motors, fans, boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems, and more. The contract also requires the contractor to provide all necessary qualified personnel, supervision, material, equipment, and services to perform the tasks in the Statement of Work prepared specifically for each Task Order.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 3 May 2023 to 2 May 2028.

Place of Performance
