Background
This solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for a Basic Purchasing Agreement (BPA) aimed at providing Plumbing and Pipefitting inspection and repair services. The goal of this BPA is to facilitate the issuance of individual Task Orders (TOs) for service to various VA Medical Centers (VAMCs), allowing them to meet future plumbing and pipefitting work requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive plumbing and pipefitting services, which include but are not limited to: general plumbing work, general pipefitting work, inspections of plumbing and piping systems, installation and repair of high, medium, and low-pressure steam systems, fire sprinkler systems, hot/cold water systems, hot water boilers, sanitary and storm water sewer systems, sinks, toilets, faucets, medical gas systems, and emergency response services.

Additionally, the contractor is responsible for preventative maintenance services and must provide reports detailing the status of serviced items to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Work conditions require scheduling in advance with the COR and adherence to VAMC standards. Technicians must be licensed plumbers or pipefitters as required by state law.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this BPA is set for 5 years from the date of award.

- Jamaica Plain VAMC (150 South Huntington Ave Boston, MA)
- Brockton VAMC (940 Belmont St Brockton, MA)
- West Roxbury VAMC (1400 VFW Parkway West Roxbury, MA).
