Sources Sought Notice Install Chill Water System Filtration & Steam Condensate Polisher The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources to Install Chill Water System Filtration & Steam Condensate Polisher for the North Texas Veterans Health Care Facilities. See referenced attachments for description of work: Statement of Work_Draft Period of Performance: TBA. NCO 17 is seeking sources that have the capability of providing these services. Firms that can provide these services are encouraged to respond to the sources sought notice by contacting the point of contact. Capable firms must respond to the POC no later than 1PM CST on July 22, 2026, to be considered. Interested firms must identify their company name and SAM UEI number and are asked to provide a capabilities statement with their response. This notice is NOT a formal request for quote or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists currently. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. No contract will be awarded from this notice. The acquisition strategy will be decided based on responses and other market research efforts. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or cost incurred in response to this announcement shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and will not be reimbursed by the Government. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources to install a Chill Water System Filtration and Steam Condensate Polisher for the North Texas Veterans Health Care Facilities.

This procurement aims to address critical water challenges at the facility by installing water conditioning equipment that will enhance financial efficiencies and reduce water use and piping degradation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the installation of a Chill Water System Filtration and Steam Condensate Polisher at the VA North Texas Veteran Health System located at 4500 South Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216.

Key tasks include:
- Installation of a cartridge-type filter in bypass position for the chilled water system, with initial filters between 25 and 50 microns, transitioning to a 5-micron filter post-cleaning.
- Site preparation involving removal of concrete/piping/electrical obstacles and installation of a concrete pad with steel rebar reinforcement.
- Installation of primary valves, motors, pumps, piping, and associated components including welds that require Nondestructive Testing (NDT).
