MECHANICAL & PLUMBING SERVICES BPA MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR Multiple Award Fixed Price, Blanket Purchase Agreement will be awarded for the VA Health Care System in Washington DC. The contractor shall furnish all necessary qualified personnel, supervision, material, equipment and services to perform the tasks in the Statement of Work prepared specifically for each Task Order. The scope of work is for the maintenance, repair, replacement and/ or demolition of Plumbing Systems, HVAC-R Systems, Mechanical Systems.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a Multiple Award Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the VA Health Care System located in Washington, DC. The goal of this contract is to provide essential mechanical and plumbing services, including maintenance, repair, replacement, and demolition of various systems to support the operational needs of the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary qualified personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, and services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The scope includes:

- Maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or demolition of Plumbing Systems including:
- Drain, Waste, and Vents repair
- Compressed gas system components
- Medical gas analysis and certification
- Plumbing leak repair
- Pipe insulation and labeling
- Sewer and storm drain clearing
- Grease trap cleaning
- Sump pump servicing

- HVAC-R Systems tasks such as:
- Duct work testing and repair
- Direct Digital Controls installation and upgrades
- Variable Speed Drives repair
- AC Compressor maintenance

- Mechanical Systems work including:
- Testing and repairing pumps and compressors

- Emergency services with a response time of two hours for urgent repairs. Work may occur during regular hours or after hours based on VA needs.

Period of Performance
The BPA will establish a five-year ordering period with specific pricing periods from March 2, 2026 to March 1, 2031.
