Quarterly Compressor Maintenance for VA Palo Alto Health Care System   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for quarterly compressor maintenance services for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). The mission of the VA is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of hospital air compressor systems across multiple VAPAHCS locations, which include Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Livermore divisions.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair services for medical, dental, lab, and control air & vacuum systems at VAPAHCS. Specific tasks include:
1. Management and supervision of maintenance activities.
2. Provision of labor, parts, materials, tools, incidental engineering services, and transportation necessary for service completion.
3. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
4. Work must be performed at three locations: Palo Alto Division (3801 Miranda Avenue), Menlo Park Division (795 Willow Road), and Livermore Division (4951 Arroyo Road).
5. Adherence to safety standards as outlined by OSHA and other relevant codes.
6. The contractor must have experience with various compressor manufacturers such as POWEREX, BUSCH, Ingersoll Rand, etc., preferably with a minimum of five years in similar environments.

Period of Performance
Base period from February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027 with four one-year option periods available.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System locations: Palo Alto Division (3801 Miranda Avenue), Menlo Park Division (795 Willow Road), and Livermore Division (4951 Arroyo Road).
