Jesse Brown VAMC Replace and recharge Ansul Fire Suppression System Primary tank and Ansul System Tank   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement and recharging of the Ansul Fire Suppression System primary tank at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Replacement of the actuator on the Ansul Fire Suppression System primary tank.
2. Recharge of the Ansul System tank located in the OIT 7th floor server room at Jesse Brown VAMC.

The contractor must ensure that all work complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, codes, and rules, including NFPA standards and VA Directives.

The work will be conducted at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center located at 820 S Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612.

This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent and/or closely related prior contract based on prior award activity at the Jesse Brown VAMC/VA environment. A closely related award (36C24122A0023) was held by Ameritech Contracting for $7,591,442 (12/20/21–03/31/27), with work that includes fire suppression system design, supply, and installation along with related mechanical/plumbing system repairs and valve/safety device work. The current scope to replace an Ansul fire suppression primary tank actuator and recharge the Ansul system tank in a server room appears to be a continuation of maintaining and servicing fire suppression equipment within the same VA facilities and systems.
