Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Veterans Health Administration Network Contracting Office 16, is issuing a solicitation for fire alarm inspection and services at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks (VHSO) located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and functionality of fire alarm systems across multiple buildings on the VHSO campus through regular inspections, maintenance, and emergency services.

Work Details
The contractor must provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, consumables, parts, and related services necessary for the service of fire alarm systems including wet-based and dry-based fire alarm systems, hydrants, fire pumps, dry chemical systems (hood systems), and other related equipment.

Tasks include:
- Conducting annual inspections and tests as per NFPA standards (NFPA 25, NFPA 72, etc.).
- Performing emergency service and repairs with a response time of no later than 2 hours after notification.
- Ensuring no system is left out of service without written permission from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Providing fully completed inspection forms within 3 business days post-inspection.
- Sourcing parts from approved suppliers when necessary.
- Conducting specific tests such as battery inspections and hydrant flow tests.
- Maintaining communication with VHSO staff regarding service issues.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on March 1, 2026 and ends on February 28, 2027 with options to extend for additional years.
