Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for the Metasys Building Automation System at the VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS). The goal of this contract is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the building automation system, which is critical for maintaining optimal operational conditions within the healthcare facility.

Work Details
The contractor will perform maintenance on the existing Metasys Building Automation System, addressing alarms, offline devices, and unreliable components. Key tasks include:
- Providing a qualified Building Automation Systems Controls Technician with at least 7 years of experience.
- Technicians must be capable of programming Johnson Controls Metasys without reliance on offsite support.
- The contractor must be authorized by Johnson Controls Inc. to perform programming and installations.
- Weekly on-site presence for 8-hour shifts to check system alarms and address issues based on priority.
- Installation and testing of VA-supplied BMS materials and equipment.
- Development and modification of front-end graphics, trends, alarms, and warnings.
- Coordination with VA representatives for additional tasks related to the BMS system.
- Attendance at quarterly meetings with engineering leadership to discuss recurring issues.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with one option year extending from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027.
