Background
The contract is for HVAC Preventative Maintenance for the Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System - South Campus. The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 22, is issuing the contract. The goal of the contract is to provide clean and healthy atmosphere compliant with hospital regulatory agencies, maintain continuous operation of HVAC and building automation systems, control temperatures throughout the building, control air pressure relationships, ensure operation of HVAC equipment 24/7/365, and maintain efficient operation of equipment.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide performance-based PMI services on Government Owned HVAC equipment. The scope of work includes providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items to perform HVACR service. The contractor will maintain minimum staffing requirements on a 24/7/365 basis to respond to emergencies within the response time listed by the facility.
Specific tasks include conducting a site survey and initial inspection of all systems covered under this contract, providing preventive maintenance for HVACR systems in various buildings listed in the solicitation document. The contractor shall also perform system testing periodically and inspect and test all systems to ensure proper efficiency, reliability, and safe performance of all equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on 07-01-2022 and ends on 06-30-2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90025.
