Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for HVAC duct cleaning services at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the HVAC systems to promote a healthy environment for patients and staff. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary parts, equipment, materials, labor, and supervision to perform these services.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform HVAC duct cleaning services throughout the Tomah VA Medical Center, including:

1. Cleaning of supply, return air, and exhaust ductwork.
2. Cleaning of diffusers and grills.
3. Cleaning of exhaust fans.
4. Cleaning of AHU heating and cooling coils.
5. Cleaning of Variable-Air-Volume (VAV) boxes.
6. Cleaning of air handlers.

The contractor must employ a truck-mounted vacuum system capable of at least 15,000 cfm and ensure that existing air filtration remains in place during cleaning. Pre-cleaning meetings with the contract COR/ACOR are required before any work begins. A detailed cleaning schedule must be submitted five days prior to each meeting, outlining the HVAC components to be cleaned and any environmental controls needed for workspace safety.

The contract period begins on September 1, 2025, and ends on August 31, 2026, with options to extend for additional years as specified in the solicitation.
