Sources Sought Notice 2 This is a Sources Sought Notice This Sources Sought Notice is issued by VISN 2 Contracting Office located at 3495 Bailey Avenue Building 3, 2nd Floor Buffalo, NY 14215 for the purpose of collecting information about a Daikin M1C Compressor Replacement at the Bath VA Medical Center located at 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810. The VA is seeking to provide for this requirement as of July 1, 2026, to replace the damaged M1C compressor. The NAICS code identified for the requirement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.5 Million. Background
This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the VISN 2 Contracting Office for the purpose of collecting information about a Daikin M1C Compressor Replacement at the Bath VA Medical Center. The goal is to replace a damaged M1C compressor as of July 1, 2026.

Work Details
The contract involves the following tasks:

1. Replacement of an inverter compressor on a Daikin VRV Unit at the Bath VA Medical Center.
2. Mobilization of personnel, tools, and equipment to the site.
3. Recovery of all refrigerants from the existing VRV system in compliance with EPA regulations.
4. Disconnection of electrical power from the VRV unit for safety.
5. Supply and installation of a new inverter compressor compatible with the existing Daikin VRV System.
6. Supply of 25lbs of new refrigerant per manufacturer specifications and charging the system to proper operating levels.
7. Verification of proper operation of newly installed components, performing system checks to ensure functionality meets manufacturer standards, and conducting a final walkthrough and operational check with the customer.
