J039 - Equipment Maintenance - Golden Gate National Cemetery

Background
Golden Gate National Cemetery is seeking vendors to provide recurring maintenance for large equipment used in grounds maintenance, burial operations, and facility support. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of government-owned equipment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic services on government-owned large equipment. Services include:

- Scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), including engines & drivetrain, cooling system, hydraulic systems, undercarriage, electrical systems;
- Forklift inspections;
- Inspection and safety checks;
- Corrective maintenance;
- Parts replacement.

The contractor must perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and Government-defined schedules. Specific tasks include oil and filter changes, fluid checks and replacements, lubrication of moving parts, belt, hose, and tire inspections, battery testing, and safety system checks.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have certified mechanics/technicians with experience in heavy equipment maintenance. Valid licenses are required as applicable. Bidders must also demonstrate the ability to service both diesel- and gas-powered equipment.
