Elevator and Lift Maintenance Services for Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) located in Nashville, TN 5 Year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a 5-Year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Elevator and Lift Maintenance Services at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) located in Nashville, TN. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts used for transporting patients, food, medical supplies, and visitors within the facility. This BPA is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor will provide full-service routine maintenance and inspections, ASME periodic testing and inspection, repairs, and call-back repair services for all traction, hydraulic, roped hydraulic elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts at TVHS. Specific tasks include:
- Routine maintenance and inspections conducted weekly for traction elevators and semi-monthly for hydraulic elevators.
- Monthly testing of fire recall features on elevators.
- Conducting periodic safety tests (Category 1, Category 3, Category 5) under ASME A17 standards with certified personnel.
- Providing 24/7 call-back services for non-functioning elevators or entrapment rescues with a response time of one hour.
- Maintaining compliance with all applicable safety codes including ASME A17.1 and ANSI/NPA 70.
- Ensuring all work adheres to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this BPA is from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2030, consisting of one base year with four additional option years.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System located at 1310 24th Avenue South, Nashville TN 37212.
