Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 4, is seeking to establish a contract for Automatic Door Maintenance and Repair Services at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC).

The goal of this contract is to ensure the continuous and safe operation of all automatic doors listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of all automatic doors.

Key tasks include:
1. Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) Plan: Develop a PMI plan within 30 days of contract award based on OEM recommendations.
2. Preventative Maintenance Inspections: Conduct quarterly inspections and routine repairs of each automatic door.
3. Service Calls: Respond to service calls within 24 hours and begin work within two business days.
4. Emergency Service Calls: Respond to emergency calls within two hours and commence work within 24 hours.
5. Quality Control: Maintain a quality control program to ensure compliance with applicable standards such as NFPA and ANSI guidelines.

The contractor must also provide reports detailing inspections and repairs performed.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract will be established for a five-year period with task orders issued as needed.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center located at 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
