This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. This RFQ is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. Interested SDVOSB must be listed as certified on the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) located at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) in order to receive contract awards under the Veterans First Contracting Program. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, is soliciting offers for: Auto-Door Preventive Maintenance for Central Texas Veterans Care System in accordance with Statement of Work. Proposed Period of Performance: Base year: 09/20/2024 to 09/19/2025. Offeror shall submit offers directly via email to Jose Campa, Senior Contract Specialist, at Jose.Campa@va.gov. Subject line of e-mail shall be Quote 36C25724Q0712 - Auto-Door Preventive Maintenance Service by Due Date/Time specified in Block 8 of the Standard Form (SF) 1449 of the solicitation.

Background

Work Details
The contractor shall be responsible for providing labor, materials and equipment for the services required to tighten, adjust, clean, lubricate, inspect, and repair the automatic doors, sensors, access control and sliding/break-away glass doors at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Temple. The work includes preventive maintenance, maintenance service, and emergency service calls. The contractor shall also comply with safety regulations and provide a safety plan in accordance with OSHA and VA Regulations.

Proposed Period of Performance: Base year: 09/20/2024 to 09/19/2025.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Central Texas Veterans Health Care System located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, TX 76504.
