The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide fire extinguishing systems testing, inspections, and maintenance at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System. The contractor must adhere to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), VA, NYS, and Manufacturer’s standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide management, supervision, labor, parts, material, tools, and transportation necessary to perform various tasks including monthly and annual maintenance inspections of all Portable Fire Extinguishers, 6-year recharge maintenance for PFEs, CO2 hydrostatic testing, new replacement extinguishers, annual testing/inspection/maintenance of FM-200 System and Kidde Sentinel System, and semi-annual testing/inspections of Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems.
