The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) CharlestonCommand and Control Systems Department, Code 531, intends to issue aRequest for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of Tactical C2 Integration &Development Support Services to provide system engineering, configurationmanagement, test and evaluation, fleet introduction, product improvement,quality assurance, logistic, and life cycle management support for variousC4ISR requirements, programs, and projects, as tasked by multipleDepartment of Defense (DOD) and other Federal Agencies, during criticalperiods from system conception through system operation. Given themagnitude of this procurement, for the purpose of this evaluation, thethreshold for relevant experience is established at $20M. The estimated release date for the formal RFP is on or about 24 June 2008. Itis the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsiblefordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paperdistribution of these documents will be provided. This procurement will beconducted as a full and open competitive procurement. Award will be made ona best value basis, considering cost, corporate experience, past performance,and other factors.
