Engineering Services for sustainment support of Shore Networks. Shorenetworks include shore programs, such as Base Level InformationInfrastructure (BLII) which includes Outside the Continental United States(OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET) and the "Piers" program. ONE-NET is the Navy-wide initiative to install a common and secure ITinfrastructureto OCONUS Navy locations. ONE-NET incorporates a new network infrastructureto provide integrated information technology to the fleet, providing acentralized 24/7 Help Desk, access to an OCONUS email directory, increasedinformation security, increased Secret Internet Protocol Router Network(SIPRNET) availability and remote access. The "Piers" program provides astandardized connection that delivers voice, video and data access, effectivelymaking a berthed ship appear to be another base building. SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific intends to issue a solicitation (RFP N66001-11-R-0008) for a multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ),firm fixed-price (FFP) and cost reimbursement type contract with a 3 yearperiod of performance. Other Direct Costs (ODC) will be non fee bearing. Theannual estimated level of effort is 163,603 hours , for a total of 490,809hoursover the total three year period. The NAICS Code is 541330. This requirementwill be fulfilled via full and open competition. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 23 April 2012.
