Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a requirement for a firm fixed price contract for the repair of fire suppression systems at residences within Yosemite National Park, located in Mariposa County. The goal of this contract is to address deficiencies identified during annual testing of the fire suppression systems to ensure safety and compliance with fire protection standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the project including mobilization, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, site rehabilitation, clean-up, and demobilization. The scope of work includes:

1) Conducting interval testing;
2) Reconfiguring sprinkler layouts for modified interior spaces;
3) Replacing dry pendant heads;
4) Replacing recalled sprinkler heads;
5) Replacing cabinet-mounted fire hoses;
6) Installing automatic drain valves on Fire Department Connection (FDC) connections;
7) Providing freeze protection for exposed wet portions of dry pipe systems;
8) Performing system inspections with passing reports.
