Description

NAMA has many distinct and separate memorial/monument sites throughout Washington DC. Eighteen (18) of these sites have pools/fountains that require daily, corrective, and preventative maintenance to ensure they operate correctly.
NPS, NAMA requires a contractor who will operate and provide all preventative maintenance and facility support services identified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) to the pools/fountains listed in this contract. The contract will include ten (10) pools/fountains with the option to add eight (8) more subject to the availability of funding. The contractor shall be required to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and repair services to properly operate and maintain the pools/fountains that fall within the coverage of this contract.
Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Interior entrusted with the care of national parks since 1916. The NPS preserves natural and cultural resources for public enjoyment, education, and inspiration. The NPS - National Capital Area (NCA) supports natural wonders to man-made marvels in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Work Details
The NPS, NAMA requires a contractor to operate and provide all preventative maintenance and facility support services to the pools and fountains listed in this contract. The contract includes ten pools/fountains with the option to add eight more subject to funding availability. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and repair services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from January 17, 2023, through July 16, 2028.
