Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Service Maintenance Agreement for Thermo High Resolution Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometer (HR-ICP-MS) for the period 04/27/23 - 04/26/24 plus two (2) additional one (1) year optional periods. See attached Notice of Intent for further details.
Background
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development (ORD), Center for Environmental Solutions & Emergency Response (CESER), Groundwater Characterization & Remediation Division (GCRD) located in Ada, Oklahoma has a requirement for on-site maintenance service of government-owned Thermo High Resolution Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometer (HR-ICP-MS), Elementar XR SN # SN04224E. The services will be needed for a Base Period of 1 base year with two (2) one (1) year optional periods. The projected period of performance is 04/27/2023 – 04/26/2024.

Work Details
The EPA intends to award a fixed price purchase order under Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 6.302-1. Thermo Electron North America LLC is the sole source in the United States for maintenance services, support, and warranty of the instrument identified in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement and is issued for notification purposes only. Interested parties capable of meeting the GCRD requirement may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability with product literature to fulfill the requirement being requested by 9:00 am ES on March 10, 2023.

Period of Performance
The contract's period of performance is from 04/27/2023 to 04/26/2024, with two additional one-year optional periods.

Place of Performance
