Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic,Charleston, SC intends to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for theprocurement of National Capital Region (NCR) Security Engineering SupportServices. The contractor shall provide systems engineering, analysis,development, acquisition, integration, installation, testing, softwaredevelopment and maintenance, and the integrated logistic support, such as:life cycle maintenance, training, and technical documentation for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Systems. The Government anticipatesaward of a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ),performance-based contract that will provide for the issuance of fixed pricetaskorders. The period of performance includes a base year and four one-yearoption periods. The procurement will be conducted under full and opencompetition on an unrestricted basis. This is a follow-on requirement toContract N65236-05-D-7148. The incumbent contractor is M.C. Dean of Dulles,Virginia. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 with a size standard of $27Million. The estimated release date for the formal RFP is on or about 30 July2011. A DRAFT COPY of the Performance Work Statement, the Government'sestimated mix of labor hours and categories, the minimum labor categoryeducation/experience requirements and a draft of possible evaluation criteriawill be posted on SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic's e-commerce website.
