Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) is tasked with supporting various shore-based hyperbaric facilities, including recompression chamber facilities, diver training facilities, escape trainer facilities, hyperbaric medical facilities, surface supplied diving facilities, and dive lockers.

The contract aims to provide Hyperbaric Systems Support Services to maintain and enhance these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor and materials for the design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, shop test, installation, and field-testing of hyperbaric facilities at P-463 MILCON Seal Delivery Vehicle Team 1 (SDVT-1), Pearl City HI. This includes designing and installing air and oxygen systems for high-pressure air compression, storage, SCUBA charging, MK16 and MK25 charging, SDV air charging, divers maintenance air supply system, and diver’s breathing air supply system.

The contractor will also submit design documentation and manuals. Tasks include overhaul of certified U.S Military Hyperbaric Systems; design and testing of piping systems; fabrication of recompression chambers; installation of high-pressure charging systems; design of escape trainers; fabrication of hyperbaric medical facilities; documentation for fabrication and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT); technical support in areas such as Hyperbaric Systems Fabrication and installation; Pressure Vessel for Human Occupancy Fabrication.

Installation and final system testing will be conducted at P-463 MILCON SDVT-1 at Pearl City, HI.
