EPA vehicle security barrier monthly service

Background
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking a contractor to provide monthly maintenance and repair services for two vehicle security barriers located at the U.S. EPA Headquarters Building in Washington, D.C.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational integrity and safety of these security barriers, which are critical for protecting the agency's facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the following tasks:
1. Monthly maintenance service for two surface-mounted plate vehicle barriers.
2. Emergency and non-emergency response for repairs and provision of repair parts for the vehicle security barriers.

The maintenance services must include inspections, adjustments, and repairs as needed to ensure optimal functionality of the barriers. The contractor is also responsible for documenting all maintenance activities and providing reports as required by the EPA.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance consists of a 12-month base period from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with four additional option periods each lasting 12 months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters located at 1200 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington DC 20460.
