Background
The Supply Chain Management Squadron located at Tinker Air Force Base is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the manufacture of specific items related to the J-85 SprayBar. This effort aims to determine if the requirement can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside.

The United States Air Force is interested in gathering information from various potential sources, including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is not a Request for Proposal and does not indicate any contractual commitment or availability of funds.

Work Details
Potential sources must be capable of providing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment necessary for the new manufacture of the item(s) listed. This includes:

- Procurement/manufacture of component parts
- Inspection
- Testing
- Preservation/packaging
- Shipping

Additionally, responsibilities may include supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, addressing diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, and shipping serviceable assets. Unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. Potential sources may also incur nonrecurring engineering costs associated with becoming an approved source. The specific spares requirement is identified by Part Number and NSN with an estimated spares requirement to be determined.
