Background
The ISOF Range 2025 solicitation is issued to support the Special Operations Forces (SOF) by providing advanced weapon systems and technologies that enhance battlefield awareness and lethality.
The goal of the contract is to integrate various systems and solutions that improve operational capabilities for SOF operators, particularly in challenging environments.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for delivering a range of technologies and systems, including:
- Medium Range and Long-Range Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) for weapon-mounted applications, focusing on night lethality.
- Laser markers and designators for target handoff and terminal guidance.
- Displays compatible with analog night vision goggles, including external displays and integrated options.
- Development of next-generation night vision goggle concepts with digital enhancements.
- Small form factor SWIR cameras for laser detection.
- Handheld multi-sensor imaging devices to enhance situational awareness.
- Color night vision technologies and low SWaP-C laser technologies.
- Remote Firing Devices (RFDs) capable of functioning with all current demolitions, supporting both LOS and NLOS command detonation.
- Lightweight Time Delay Firing Devices (TDFDs) with fixed delay settings compatible with existing explosives.
- Stand-off breaching capabilities using 40mm Low Velocity Grenades compatible with M320 launchers.
- Development of small arms cartridges using alternative materials to improve performance.
- Shoulder Launched Munition systems designed for anti-personnel and structural defeat capabilities.
- Precision Strike Systems that are platform agnostic, self-contained, and include all necessary subsystems for operation.
- Remote Weapon System Technology Demonstration Rodeo (RWS-TDR) focusing on counter unmanned aerial systems (cUAS) with live fire demonstrations planned for April 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe leading up to the live fire demonstrations scheduled for April 1 and 2, 2025.
