Background
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS), is issuing Solicitation 75F40126R00049 for the IRV Lab Exhaust & Vacuum Pump Replacement Project at the FDA Pacific Southwest Laboratory located at 19701 Fairchild Road, Irvine, California.

This project aims to replace end-of-life vacuum pump systems and install a new laboratory exhaust system to ensure safe operational conditions in the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, testing, commissioning, and related services needed to remove and replace the laboratory vacuum pump system and install a new laboratory exhaust system. The work includes:
- Replacement of obsolete vacuum pump systems that are near 23 years old.
- Installation of a new exhaust system for Room 2309 to correct hazardous vapor levels exceeding safe exposure limits.
- Building Automation System (BAS) integration.
- Testing and balancing (TAB) of the systems.
- Commissioning of the new systems.
- Training for FDA personnel on the new systems.
- Project closeout documentation including operation manuals and warranties.

Period of Performance
The Contractor shall achieve substantial completion within 222 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP), followed by a workmanship warranty of 12 months from the date of final acceptance.
