IRCamera IRC812 InSb Infrared Imaging Camera OR EQUIVALENT

Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of an IRCamera IRC812 InSb Infrared Imaging Camera or equivalent. This requirement is part of the ESM project at NASA Ames Research Center, which aims to upgrade the existing Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) camera that has been in service for approximately 15 years. The goal of this contract is to enhance the capability to characterize shock wave properties within the Electric Arc Shock Tube.

Work Details
This is a Brand Name or Equal To requirement for an IRCamera IRC812 InSb Infrared Imaging Camera. The specifications for the MWIR Focal Plane Array Camera include:

- Image area between 6 x 6 mm and 15 x 15 mm
- Sensitivity range: minimum 1700-5300 nm
- Cryogenic operation through L-N2, Stirling or similar at 77K
- Programmable integration time with a minimum gate time of 0.6 µs or less; vendor must supply curve showing efficiency, gain, or signal as a function of time during the gating pulse
- Single shot externally triggered acquisition with reproducible single shot behavior; pre-trigger can be supplied no more than 100 µs prior to acquisition
- Working distance from detector to front face of detector <1.0 inch (preferred 0.878”)
- Flange mount face with a 4” Bolt Circle, pattern to be provided by NASA
- Minimum 14-bit A/D conversion
- Software development kit with Python control over RS-232, CameraLink or similar
- Adjustable A/D gain to operate at less than full well
- Read noise <210 e-
- Sensitivity NETD <30mK
- Maximum F/4
- No built-in cold filter
- 100% fill factor.
