Description

Washington Headquarters Services/Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) awarded an 8(a) Direct Award contract to Sancorp Consulting, LLC for professional, administrativez, and operational support services to the Influence and Perception Management Office (IPMO). This contract award was awarded a sole source in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.8 - Contracting with the Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program); and DFARS 252.219-7009, Section 8(a) Direct Award.

The subject requirement is for the newly established IPMO. As such, the tasks and responsibilities are not yet clearly defined. Due to the uncertainty of the timing and quantity of work, it is not possible to accurately estimate, with any degree of confidence, what level of effort will be required. Therefore, a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract type was not suitable for this requirement. Pursuant to FAR 16.601(c), use of Labor-Hour CLINs for the required support services was determined to be the most appropriate contract type. Travel and Other Direct Costs (ODCs) were awarded as a Time-and-Materials CLIN.
