IONM Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Services - Atlanta VAMC

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this contract to provide onsite Interoperative Neurosurgery (IONM) services to eligible beneficiaries. The goal of the contract is to ensure that the IONM services provided meet or exceed the standards set by the American Association for Neurological Surgeons, ensuring high-quality care in a state-of-the-art medical treatment facility.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all key personnel to provide IONM services, which include but are not limited to:
- Providing clinical Interoperative Neurosurgery (IONM) services during surgical procedures.
- Ensuring that all personnel are certified for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and are technically proficient in their roles.
- Providing all necessary equipment for IONM, including FDA-approved hardware and software systems.
- Complying with standards of care as established by recognized authorities such as the American Association for Neurological Surgeons and The Joint Commission.
- Participating in continuous quality improvement activities and adhering to patient safety protocols.
- Documenting care in accordance with VA policies and maintaining confidentiality of patient records as per HIPAA regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over five ordering periods: 1st Period from 05/01/2026 to 04/30/2027, 2nd Period from 05/01/2027 to 04/30/2028, 3rd Period from 05/01/2028 to 04/30/2029, 4th Period from 05/01/2029 to 04/30/2030, and the 5th Period from 05/01/2030 to 04/30/2031.

Place of Performance
Services shall be provided onsite at the Atlanta VA Health Care System located at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033.
