FAA Request of Information: IOM of Live-Lab Advanced Visual Analytics (LAVA) suite application and tools developed by Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab 1. Introduction/Purpose THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or services whatsoever. Further, the FAA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI. This RFI is issued to solicit statements of capability from interested business concerns who have experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance (IOM) of the Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) Live-Lab Advanced Visual Analytics (LAVA) suite application and tools developed by Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, specifically Galaxy, Pointillist, and Mission Assessment Tracking Tool (MATT)/ Operational Standard Cyber Assessment Repository (OSCAR). 2. Standard Language Respondents to this RFI should note that: (a) This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the RFI; and (d) Any costs associated with the RFI submittal is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The FAA may also elect to utilize an appropriate Agency-wide vehicle to provide these services. 3. Submittal Requirements for RFI Responses to this RFI must include the following information: 1. General information of your company name, address, contact person name, phone number, fax number, email address(s) and UEI number and company website, if available. 2. Type of business such as 8(a), small business, Hub Zone small business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business or Veteran owned small business. 3. Capability Statement - This document should address your firm's specific capabilities and experiences outlined in Section 4 below (Limited to 3 pages). 4. Specific Capabilities to Address: Capability statements must include level of experience with the LAVA suite application and tools, specifically Galaxy, Pointillist, and Mission Assessment Tracking Tool (MATT)/ Operational Standard Cyber Assessment Repository (OSCAR) in the following areas: A. Installing and maintaining the tool. - Provide the level of experience your company has with the installation of these tools. - Provide the level of experience your company has with maintaining this tool, including making code changes to the source code in support of vendor requests. B. Operating the tool. - Provide the level of experience your company has with setup and configuration of various logs for ingest into Galaxy. - Provide the level of experience your company has with modifying configurations in order to get a better picture of the red team and blue team data. C. Training on the tool. - Provide the level of experience your company has with leading training classes to train personnel on the tool. - Provide the level of experience your company has with providing one-on-one mentoring or over-the-shoulder assistance for using the tool. 5. Delivery of Submittals Interested vendors can submit questions to the Contracting Officer prior to market survey response submissions. All responses to this market survey must be received by 12:00 PM ET on or before April 19, 2022. All responses must be submitted to Lisen Minetti, Contract Specialist at lisen.c.minetti@faa.gov.
