Background
The contract is for investigative services to support the Los Angeles Cooperative Disability Investigations Unit. The contractor is required to provide fraud investigations for the Cooperative Disability Investigations Unit located in Los Angeles, California. The requirement is for investigation of suspected fraud activities against the Social Security Administration's Title II and Title XVI disability programs, including Title XIX (Medicaid) in the state of California.

Work Details
The work includes conducting background investigations and suitability determinations of contractor personnel requiring access to a Social Security Administration (SSA) facility, site, system, or information. It also involves obtaining Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentials for contractor personnel requiring access to an SSA information system or routine unescorted access to an SSA facility or site for a period of six months or more.

The contractor is responsible for complying with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 and Office of Management and Budget Memorandum M-05-24. Additionally, the contract includes provisions related to the observance of legal holidays and administrative leave, contractor use of government facilities, and the period of performance which is for a one-year base and four one-year options.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract shall be for a one-year base from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, with four one-year options extending through September 1, 2029.

The contract work will be performed in Los Angeles, California.
