The Contractor shall deliver comprehensive IONM services, including:
- Provision of qualified personnel, equipment, software, and materials necessary for IONM.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a closely related prior contract for intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring services under VA contract 36C25522D0004, with Risen Video Production as the awardee (including a $263,430 base period from 11/24/21–11/23/26 and a related task order valued at $44,867 from 11/24/24–11/23/25). The prior work involved on-site IONM services at a VA medical center (Columbia VAMC) using multiple monitoring modalities (e.g., evoked potentials) with certified neurophysiologic technologists performing equipment setup, electrode placement, data acquisition/reporting, and coordination with the surgical team in accordance with VA and Joint Commission standards. The scope described for the current Kansas City VAMC requirement—comprehensive multi-modality IONM with real-time communication and compliance with VA/Joint Commission—appears to be a continuation of the same type of clinical monitoring service.

Services Provided: The Contractor shall provide VA and Joint Commission Certified Intraoperative Monitoring services that meet the standards of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and The Joint Commission. Services shall be delivered in accordance with the specifications outlined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Kansas City VA Medical Center (herein, known as KCVAMC).

Coverage shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for scheduled and emergency cases. The Contractor shall respond promptly to all requests, including elective and urgent/emergent cases, ensuring that an on-site technologist and a remote neurologist are available within 60 minutes of notification for emergencies. The Contractor shall promptly communicate any changes to scheduled monitoring, including date, time, or type of monitoring, to the VA.

The Contractor shall provide qualified Electro Neurophysiologic Technologists to perform on-site intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) services.
