Background
The U.S. Government, through the American Consulate General in Frankfurt, is seeking contractors to provide interpreting and translating services to support the training needs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of the Interior. This contract is functionally managed by the U.S. Embassy Riyadh's Program of Technical Cooperation - United States (PTC-US).

The goal is to facilitate communication and understanding between U.S. and Saudi personnel during training sessions.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a range of services including:
1. Translating course materials from English to Gulf Arabic in formats such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
2. Interpreting training courses during classroom presentations, facilitating interaction between students and instructors in both languages.
3. Performing simultaneous or consecutive interpretation in various settings including private meetings and public events.
4. Providing voice-over translation for government-provided audio-visual materials using contractor-supplied equipment.
5. Offering bilingual administrative support services, including document translation and short consecutive interpretation.
6. Ensuring that all interpreters possess fluency in both English and Arabic, with knowledge of cultural nuances and technical terminology relevant to the subject matter being discussed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for twelve months from the date of Notice to Proceed, with options for four additional years based on performance and need.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with potential travel required for assignments outside of Riyadh.
